REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
- Registration must be completed online through Agility Rocks.

- Please Do NOT send payment until your registration is confirmed.
- Payment is by e-transfer. The email address will be provided to you on your confirmation email.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS:
- All refunds are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations before TBD will only be subject to the cancellation fee. A Medical Note is required for a full refund.
- Cancellations after (TBD) require a doctor’s note (handler) or a veterinarian note and will not be subject to the cancellation fee. A note must be provided for refunds.
TRIAL DETAILS
We do not allow any choke/shock/pinch collars at any Cactus K9 Club events. Please respect our rules. There will be zero tolerance of verbal and/or physical abuse towards any dog, volunteer, or judge (as per AAC rules). If anyone witnesses any such abuse, let us know.

The money raised will go towards purchasing some new training equipment for the club.
Volunteering:
- All participants are expected to volunteer for 2 events per day.
- There will be a Volunteer Sign-up Form sent with your confirmation.
- To complete trial registration, volunteer sign up is REQUIRED.
- You will receive confirmation of what you signed up for once registration is complete.
- Keep track of your classes and volunteer assignments.
Trial Details:
- All Handlers Meeting is at 7:40 am each morning. This Meeting is Important for All Competitors to attend.
- Bring poo bags. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog.
- ONLY COMPETITOR DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE.
- Friends and family are welcome to visit without dogs.
- There will be 5x7 hard copies of the course maps available.

- You will not be permitted in the crating area until the trial set up is completed, UNLESS you are helping with setup.
- Bring a chair for yourself and a crate/x-pen for your dog OR you can crate your dogs in/at your vehicles with appropriate safety measures.
- Dogs must be on leash when not competing or in the designated off-leash playground area.

- As per AAC Rules (2.10.02 General Faults), dogs are now allowed to wear collars in the ring, but only collars with no dangling attachments.

Measuring:
**Please note that you will only be offered ONE measurement at this trial per dog, as per AAC rules.
- Friday afternoon 4:15-4:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday 7:15-7:30 am. Please go to the AAC site (www.aac.ca) for the rules around measuring your dog.
Walk-throughs and Familiarization:
- Obstacle Familiarization will be at 7:30 am on Saturday and Sunday mornings for Starters Dogs Only.
- Walk through will start at 7:50 am. Please prepare to arrive early if you are in the first event of the day.
- Move-ups can be requested on the same day but MIGHT be deferred to the next day depending on numbers and other possible conditions.
Ribbons:
- Ribbons are self-served for 1st to 4th placings and qualifiers.
- They will be located near the results binders.
- For title earnings, there will be a process in place to notify the person in charge of handing out ribbons.
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW AS IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO KNOW IN ADVANCE:
- We will be having a 50/50 draw, so you will want to have some cash on hand for this.
- We will also be looking at setting up a photography area for those that would like photos of yourself and your pup/pups with their winning ribbons. Or just photographs in general. Photographs will be done by donation for the photographer’s time, with the option to purchase photos if wanted. If anyone knows of a photographer interested, please let the Trial Secretary know as soon as possible.

VENUE INFORMATION
Venue Location:
- This trial site is a grass field and will take place come rain or shine.
- Cell service and wi-fi are limited and are not reliable.
- Port-o-poties and outhouses will be on site.
- There is NO potable water on site or food. So please bring plenty of water, food, and cooling items for both you and your dog(s).
- The Heffley Store is 3 kms away and has a liquor store and some food items.
- Cooling pools will be set up, for dogs only.
Directions to Venue: Dick Hart Memorial Park is located just off Highway 5 (Yellowhead) on the road to Sun Peaks. From Kamloops, take the turnoff to Jasper (Hwy 5). Travel north for about 15 minutes. Take the turnoff (right) to Sun Peaks and follow the signs to Sun Peaks. Dick Hart Park is about 3-4 kms past the Heffley Store. Watch for a wood sign on your right. Turn right and drive down into the ballpark.

Shade Tents (within trial run area):
- You may set up a shade tent in designated areas only.
- SHADE TENT PEGS MUST BE NO LONGER THAN 6” TO AVOID DAMAGE TO UNDERGROUND SPRINKLER SYSTEM
NOTE: at a previous trial some pegs were left in the grass, this is very dangerous in a ball field. Please double check when you pack up that you have all your pegs. - ONLY site builders will be permitted within shade tent set up areas until rings are set up. You can set up your shade tent in the designated area AFTER the field build is completed.

- Registrants will be able to camp. Please be mindful of space and location of your camp to ensure everyone can set up comfortably.
- You may set up Friday at noon and afterwards.
- Pack in Pack out rules apply.
- Only poo bags can be thrown out in venue garbage cans.
- The Club will have additional garbage cans and recycling bins out - the Club has to take these to drop off locations after the trial so PLEASE be respectful of the limited space we have to remove trash.
- Garbage will be removed at NOON on Sunday.
