PRESIDENT
Term: March 2025 - March 2027 Marnie Waller, President Email: [email protected] Marnie's journey in agility began in 2006 when a neighbor introduced her to the sport. Her first agility partner was Rookie, a Brittany Spaniel, who sparked a passion that continues today. Soon after, Marnie began competing with her own Cocker Spaniel, Bobby, earning several ribbons and gaining valuable experience in training, competition, and the special bond between dog and handler. After taking a few years away from the sport, she rekindled her love for agility when she moved to Kamloops in 2017 and started training with her new Cocker Spaniel, Tucker. Over the years, Marnie has shared her agility journey with several dogs. Her Boxer, Abby, dabbled in the sport, while her current Boxer, Belle, has fully embraced agility and loves every minute of it. Through each dog, Marnie has experienced the unique challenges, learning opportunities, and rewards that make agility such a special community. As President, Marnie is passionate about supporting and growing the sport, fostering a welcoming environment for competitors of all levels, and encouraging positive partnerships between dogs and their handlers. Her firsthand experience as an agility enthusiast gives her a deep appreciation for the dedication, teamwork, and joy that agility brings to both people and their canine companions.
