Description: In this course, dogs are introduced to the concept of weaving between poles in a zig-zag pattern. This involves a series of 6-12 evenly spaced poles that the dog must navigate, passing their left shoulder in front of the first pole and then weaving through the rest. The focus is on building a foundation of understanding and getting the dog accustomed to the movement pattern. In this class we will focus on teaching and proofing the weave poles from the ground up. You will learn how to train the weave poles using the 2 x 2 method. We will also begin proofing our weave skills by varying the approach to the obstacle, distance from the weaves, obstacles performed before and after weave poles, etc.

RALLY-O WRITE UPS:
Novice Level Rally Obedience Class CANCELLED

Prerequisite: Intro to Rally O, Level 1 Rally, or equivalent skills
This class is for anyone who has basic and beyond Rally-O skills and wants to improve accuracy and/or learn all Novice skills. Each week we will work on 2 or 3 Novice skills in a sequence-based lesson with extra enhancing skills to aid in your dog's performance.
Mixed Rally Obedience - Not offered at this time

Description: This class is for people and dogs who have taken CK9C Levels 1 & 2 Rally-O. We will focus on all of the Novice level skills, bringing them to a competition standard. We will also start to expand your skills to include Advanced level skills. Although this is a competition-based class, you and your dog can participate with the pre-requisite even if you are not interested in competing in this sport.
Prerequisite: Students who completed Level 1 and Level 2 or current Mixed Rally Obedience students.
