Fun-in-One classes are single session courses designed to give you a taste of what a full-length course offers. You can try a class to see if you like it. These classes are ‘a pick what you like’ series that offers an introduction to students including the basic elements of each of these dog sporting activities. You can take 1 or more depending on your interests. You will learn the basic requirements and will be given the opportunity to try out the focused sport. The goal is to enrich your dog’s life and give you an opportunity to try a dog sport in a supportive fun environment and to ask questions.
These classes are appropriate for all people (under 14 yrs with a parent/guardian please) and all dogs over 4 months of age (with at least 2 vaccinations).
Agility
Agility is a fast-paced sport involving jumps, tunnels, and many more obstacles. We love this sport for its fun and trained behavior's. Students will start off exploring tunnels, and jumps, use some confidence building equipment, learn some ways to handle their dogs, and end with a short course to run.
Instructor: Karen Williamson
Date: Not offered at this time
Time: TBD
Location: Rayleigh
Maximum # of Students: 4
Cost of Session: $35 (less 10% for members)
Hoopers
This is brand new in Canada. Hoopers is a low impact sport with dogs navigating a course through hoops, tunnels, and barrels with no jumping.
This a complementary sport to Agility. Dogs will start with learning that the hoop is very rewarding. We will increase the distance and add tunnels, and barrels. A short course will add to the fun at the end of the evening.
