Please see the drop down menu under "Classes" for course descriptions and registration information. We offer Agility, Obedience, Nosework, Trick Training and Introduction to Disc. Occasionally we offer specialty courses addressing behavioural issues.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the short time frame between registration and the start of classes this session (classes starting September 2023), no refunds will be given if you choose to cancel unless we can fill your spot from the waitlist.
Cancellation due to medical reasons will decided on a case-by-case basis by the Board of Directors. If we cancel due to the threat of wildfires or severe smoke, a full refund will be given.
Class/Event Waiver
Participants in CK9C events are required to complete a Waiver form. Our Waiver is available in two versions for your convenience: PDF or Word
- Cost for classes: $35 per class, payment by e-transfer to treasurer@cactusk9.com
- 10% discount for CK9C members
- CK9C classes are taught by experienced trainers and are open to the public. We teach dogs by rewarding desired behaviours and excluding use of physical or psychological intimidation.
- All sports related training begins with foundation curriculum that will prepare you for competition should you choose that route.
- Group classes are not appropriate for dogs who have signs of reactivity or aggression. If you have questions on whether this is an appropriate class for you and your dog please email cactusk9club@gmail.com
- Dogs must be at least 6-months of age to participate in agility classes
