Yvonne Babij is an agility treasure
Yvonne has been involved in one way or another in dog agility since the last century
Yvonne started out as a student of agility and the progression went from student an instructor, agility addict a seminar presenter, and a judge.
Yvonne has participated in many seminars presented by well accomplished agility enthusiasts.
Yvonne has placed 5th at Regionals with 2 different dogs and placed 4th at Nationals. Yvonne’s Border Collie Denim earned the AAC Distinction of Lifetime Achievement Award.
Yvonne enjoys building a foundation of skills and fostering a good relationship with her teammates.
Yvonne believes “If you aren’t having FUN you’re doing it wrong!”
Agility Seminar - All Levels, If you have taken Level 1 Agility this is for you, and all the way through Masters!
The club members will get a 48 hour Head Start. Please look for the registration on Thursday!
This is an opportunity for you to attend a Seminar that is designed for our Club members! You can get your feet wet or work on preparing for our May Trial.
Yvonne Babij is a very talented trainer in the sport of Agility. Her distance skills are second to none. She has a practical and grounded approach to teaching that is suitable for levels of people and dogs.
Your dog does not need to be doing Weaves or Contact equipment to attend. People and dogs who have taken 1 class set will be Agility Classes are Welcome.
Seminar information:
The seminar will be held in Heffley (outside) and will take place over 2 days. 1 session runs from 9:00-12:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday and the other runs from 1:00-4:00 pm on both days. Beginner dogs and those with a bit of experience should register in the morning session and more advanced dogs and handlers should register for the afternoon session. Auditors are welcome for $25.00 for both sessions. If you are registered in the morning session and want to stick around and audit the afternoon session, you can do so for $25.00
Registration opens Thursday March 13th at 4:00 pm for members and on Saturday March 15th for non-members.
