Trial Poll:
Our September trial is currently held on Labour Day weekend. We would like to gauge your opinion on a potential date change.
Although the long weekend is favorable to some, getting volunteers is difficult. Back to school, weddings, and holidays make it hard for many people. In 2025, like in 2024, the trial is on thesame weekend as the as the UKI trial in Chilliwack and this does take members and other competitors away from our trial. Both heat and smoke have been issues. This past trial, the Sunday was exceptionally hot and resulted in dogs being pulled and some competitors suffering heat exhaustion.
Without changing venues, Dick Hart is available later in September. The date would likely be the last weekend in September.
One other option, that will not happen in 2025, is to change location and the for our September trial to the Agriplex in Barriere.
